I'm currently learning Reality as well, for Daz though. Lux does give some beautiful results, but it can give some horrid ones too lol. I think I spend as much time in Reality as I spend in Daz, just to get the lighting and materials done right. I've found though, that the render time actually evens out. If you render not too large a size (I stick to longest side @2k) it takes less than 24 hours. That is with throwing everything possible in a render. Seriously, I pushed it. Granted, the render didn't turn out because I screwed up on lights, but it rendered ivy, trees, grass, feathered wings, SAV hair, flowers, and more crap in 20 hours. If I would have tried that in Daz, my computer would have not so kindly told me where to stick it.
