Reese and I started out in brilliant sunlight heading west into a new area of discovery. By the time we arrived, the clouds obscured the sky, creating a huge dynamic range which was impossible to capture. At the same time, it also created a dark beauty. Beautiful shot. I really like the composition of this shot. Great job keeping the details in both the old house and in the sky. I love old abandoned places. Very nice.
(I watch both you as an artist and the group We-love-dead-places. I was going through my stacks of art in the group pile, deleting some and keeping others. When I got to this pic, I said to myself, this looks like Wayne B. and I was correct. I really do enjoy your photographic style, and this pic is an outstanding example of it. Keep up the good work.)
