Shrunk down version.I took this pic (And a lot more) a few weeks ago. I got up and had to leave for work soon, but the sun was starting to peek up and there was fog.
I LOVE those kinds of pictures, so I had to run around outside and take some pics.
Without my contacts in of course. I mean, who's got time to meddle with that kind of thing anyway? xD
I like how this one turned out, what with the godrays poking down into the clearing.
I would like some feedback though, Should I submit it as a print?

Oh, I don't live in the city. Thank God, too. I'd go crazy. I actually live on a 5 acre lot. It's just that there aren't really any woods in Kansas, and a tree line just doesn't come close

The composition is excellent. Ever heard of the Rule of Thirds ? I mean, I didn't take a ruler and measure your photo or anything, but just by eyeballing it, I'd say it follows the rule very closely.

But actually, if you compare the two side-by-side there's a fairly significant color difference that I thought you'd like to try out for youself. I don't know GIMP, but I'd imagine you'd be able to do something along those lines.

Actually, I have one more suggestion. Right now the image looks kind of faded out and watermark-ish with the sheer amount of light going right toward the camera. Try increasing the contrast of the image up to possibly +50%, or whatever looks right to you. It really helps the colors pop.

Dang man, that is one of the most incredible things i've seen.
Those rays are great too, I see them all the time piercing through clouds in the evening where I live.
