Description
This is a new piece that I finished. I've been doing more work based on animals, and I'm pleased with how this fox came out. I used coloured pencils, watercolour, black fine liner and acrylic. Here is my facebook page if you like what you see:

Lets start off with the fox. The way that you drew it gives it a majestic look giving the entire piece a more mature look that you would expect with that much butterflies. The detail that you pun into the fox is also amazing, and the layers of fur look great. My only complaint with the fox is the little bit of fur hanging on the snout. it just seems like it shouldn't be there to me, however it doesn't take way from the picture that much. The background is what sets me off. The butterflies in the brown border look great and I love the single colored one flying around, however I think that the white ones on the blue are distracting and don't really need to be there.
Overall the piece is great looking and very well done. With a lot of work put into it as I would guess.

Amazing! I think the fox turned out really well e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

(Big Grin)"/>. The color looks great, also the blue and orange really make eachother stronger. I think it is good that you used a bit of the orange in the butterflies wing to make it match more

As feedback you can maybe try to not repeat the butterflies exactly the way they are but mirror them or turn them a bit. For instance with the one in the lower corner right and at the same high left. I think you do that great with the smaller one you can see from the side. Also you can take a look again at the colored butterfly, I think his wings are slightly different in size, the one right looks a bit shorter, I think it should have ended a bit lower then the circle where it ends now. However this is not really something someone would spot early. For me most of my attention goes to the fox and I won't chage a thing about him/her, the fox just looks great!

That's beautiful. I love the framing, though it's unfortunate that the frame itself got cut off. The sacrifice of traditional art I suppose! The complimentary colors of blue and orange work really well for this piece. Well done!

Yeah, the template was the perfect size for the paper but not for the scanner unfortunately. Thank you very much though!

I just read the title of the drawing... I kind of love the word and all of it's implications, why did you use it as a title for your drawing?
