The composition of the piece, from the armchair and stack of books is accentuated beautifully with the woodland leaves all around (which incidentally, works beautifully with fresh signs of growth amidst the brown contrasts).
I think the use of a large book (as in a children's fairytale book) works very well here and the rapt attention of the model seems to be creating magical energy all around with the displacement and playfulness of the leaves up in the air, above the lantern with its warm candle flame.
I think the soft focus of the background blurring is a good compromise with the clarity of the central objects and the delicate balance of the dancing leaves is brought to life with a more emotive awareness because of the way in which the background is used.

This was fantastically staged. The details are great, and even still there's an intimiacy that isn't lost. The mushrooms were a nice touch, and so was the falling leaves. the model is good, and the scene is just really cozy feeling. The forest, is the new coffee shop.

Everything seems so perfect in the picture. The Mushrooms, the teapot or even the socks seem like they would have never been somewhere else than in this picture.
