WHiiiiiile our internet is still working......I shall upload a cover page I just finished for the "Broken" comic.
If you haven't read it already, please do!
BROKEN:
Sonic breaks his leg, and can't do anything for himself. He'll have to stay with his best friends until he fully recovers!

Mmm, I dunno. I think this has a different tone from the comic.
The title, for one, in ALL caps, in that rigid font is very serious, and unwavering as the letters themselves. Then you add in the fact that it is just Sonic, despondent, bathed in shadow, with a scrubbed charcoal background, and it gives a very ominous and foreboding atmosphere.
For the cover to this comic, I would envision maybe Sonic in the act of falling while several friends try to balance him or keep him from falling, highlighting the comedic and light-hearted tone of the story.
It is not that this is bad, you see, just a little misleading, I think.

Yeah I wanted to make it that way because the whole idea is it's supposed to be...parodic? Anti-climactic? I can't think of the word right now but I wanted to make it misleading, so the person thinks they're reading an "emo" story about Sonic (not necessarily breaking his leg, maybe a broken spirit or something because of the title), but it's actually...not...
It waaass...supposed to be a stark contrast...but I guess my vision got lost in translation? :s
