Seems like the character is melting in the atmosphere of the background with the color of the skin which is pretty similar; also, we see this represention of the harmony with the nature through this invasion of birds, of bees and of tree branch all over the drawing.
I also notice the bird aren't exactly from the same species although they're all blue. x)
