This is an amazing picture of Luna trekking through the Everfree Forest.
The lifeless surrounding makes Luna really standout. Her colors are just dark enough to blend in well with the background, without appearing too bland.
She's slightly far away -I noticed that with the Celestia one too -maybe it is to show off all of Luna without taking away from the serene, almost dreary, scenery. The distance doesn't let us see the detail of her armor too well. On the other hand the distance gives us the the complete view of Luna, which would be sacrificed if she was closer.
She gives off a calm before the storm vibe, with the way she seems to be moving. Luna's ominous, and appears rather frightening -at least to anyone facing her.
I really like this picture. All-in-all, it's almost breathe taking. I hope to see more from you.

Just to expand on my comment.. This image has exceptional weight balance. The use of of color and contrast, coupled with the motion and quality of the line work is fantastic. It draws a path which leads the eye downward before swooping back up, keeping the viewer focused and it's got a tremendous sense of depth. I also enjoy the temperature balance of the blues and oranges, it can be hard to work with those colors without going overboard and losing the image in the resulting effect.
The only things that I'd change or look at to make it better would be the detail of the running horse/legs. I know it's viewed from the front, so that head on foreshortening can be tough to do, but if those front legs were raised higher, mid gallop, so you could see the faint view of the back legs striking the ground, it would give it a greater amount of depth.
Furthermore, if the wings are intended to be "glowing on their own power" so to speak, I'd add just a touch more jitter to the gradient, something akin to very soft light trails that you see in moving headlights, but really gently done.
Also, where the subject is back lit by the moonlight, a drop shadow beneath would help tie the subject into the backdrop more effectively.
But all in all, this is a well thought out composition with a dynamic presentation. Excellent work!

Hi! wow thanks for the critique! I'd like to point out that this is actually a humanised version and thats a human form walking towards the viewer. But yeah that means my form wasn't clear enough.
Anyways - thanks for all the pointers - all valid - will work on fixing those problems in future stuff. ^_^

That's perfectly what I thought what looked like Luna. I love the glowing eyes awesome touch. I love the wings to, some people forget to put in the wings or to small of the wings. I can just see this scene playing out. Some evil has been thrown out of Equestria and is making plans to return when Luna shows up, dressed for battle. The shadows begin to creep toward the evil creature as the air begins to fill with frost. As the forest becomes more and more nightmare-esque, the evil creature, in a fit of ego induced stupidity, begins to gloat over how much he was able to get away with and the entirety of his punishment is "go away and never come back." He continues to say he will build his power, bide his time, and return when failure is impossible.
"No, you won't," Counters Luna withΒ a voice devoid of warmth.
"It's inevitable," The evil responds, "Celestia is too kind to finish me, and dreams can not kill."
"I am not my sister," says Luna. Her wings flair and her eyes shine as all the darkness and cold in the forest begins to focus on the body of the evil. "And this is not a dream."

It's about Celestia and Luna's battle with Discord way back when. Luna battles discord in his mind while Celestia attacks in the real world.(Which is based on the fact that Luna is heavily involved in dreams and such in MLP) The story would be from Luna's POV.
