Fadafne had asked too see some of Veruca's past after seeing little Olly sooo here we go little Ruca lol <3Veruca's father Arturo "Travieso" Del toro was a musician and the son of a powerful Mexican crime lord, he is serving life in prison for the murder of 6 rival gang members who came to kill him at his daughter Veronica's ( ruca's older sister) birthday. Arturo wanted to turn his life around and get out of crime so he decided to pack up his wife Vallory and girls and flee to her home country England once and for all!...... but he was too late.
Vallory was an artist, the daughter of a affluent family she travelled around the world studying cultures and painting people ^ o ^! she led a clean life and got involved with a man who didn't. Vallory's family has disowned her. Veruca was too young to understand what life in prison ment but her sister knows and resents her father for the life they live and how sad their mother is. she chooses not to speak to him Arturo feels horrible he sews stuffed animals for the girls out of tee shirts for christmas and has his family send ridiculous amounts of gifts to them during the holidays to make up for it. Arturos family sends money for her and the girls to fly down and see him eventually visits are too painful for her and she no longer accepted the gift. because mexico was too unsafe she raised them in england... well ....till Veruca ran away with a troubled boy with long black hair and a even longer crime record ( lol wink wink u kno who)
Veruca hates things being taken from her ...
she does not speak spanish and keeps her Mothers maiden name

Yeah, my girl had a lot of personal stuff that she was actively trying to overcome. I deeply respected that woman.
Also...I can see why I suppose. She SEEMS to be straight-laced and on the path to recovery...but it's characters that try to reunite families and suffer silently that I find extremely interesting. Ruca is a glorious awesome mess but I'm so intrigued by Ronnie!

I see your art so much! Especially on Pinterest. Part of me wishes Arturo could make it out, albeit someday. Wouldn't he be eligible for parole after 25+ years? Also if he comes from a prominent crime family why don't they pay for better defense? Is it possible Ruca's using the money she steals to help get her father out one day? I imagine if she tried it wouldn't be through legal means and would likely result in her having to face off against the rivals that potentially landed him there. Her trust in the justice system likely died when her dad was wrongfully jailed.

lol it's so funny everyone finds me from Pinterest but I didn't have a Pinterest until recently haha
me too sometimes having him free would be so beneficial for ruca to have him in her life again
in his case almost everyone from his town want's to keep him in jail everyone thinks it's fault the shooting happened it was a joint birthday a lot of parents and kids were hurt or killed and families of those people needed someone to blame
his arrest is really big for the cops of his town to have caught and jailed one of the Del Toro's is bragging rights for them some as crooked as they are even asking arturo's father for insane amounts of money like a deal to set him free but Arturo is estranged from his family and too prideful to pledge allegiance to his father he feels he is innocent and wants nothing to do with his dad

I'm sure she loves her dad but she's not like Veruca she doesn't show it in present day when people ask about her father it's almost like he is dead she is very embarrassed by the fact that her dad is in prison and chooses to ignore that
but if something were to happen to him I'm sure she would be very upset and regret it all

yes, Arturo's family is a well known crime family were they live. his father is a drug lord so it is assumed that Arturo was in that lifestyle too by the cops. the men who came killed innocent people at the party and their families layed a lot of blame on him because of the family he comes from as if he had something to do with it. Arturo used the men's guns with bare hand while they wore gloves even though by looking at the situation it's obvious it was self defense the cops were so happy to jail one of the Del Toro sons they didnt even care to look at the crime scene all they cared was that they had a del toro with a gun in his hand in a room full of dead bodies the cops are corrupt where they lived and some thought that if they jailed Arturo his father would pay big money for them to set him free

nono olly and ruca left the uk for the US so they left to america she left her family behind olly lefy his mom but a few years later felt bad and sent for her
