You lived to die
Rejected and alone
Like a rose
Trampled on the ground
You took the fall
And thought of me
Above all...
That must have been such a somber moment for everyone at that time. This is the part we all focus on when we lose someone we love. Right now, we only see the gloom and doom of death and we're only concerned about the fact that the person we love is no longer with us.
Sure, we know they're in a better place and we'll see them again...but it still hurts to lose them. And there's no shame in that.

love this work it reminds me of a dream that I once had, I dreamed that I was in heaven and I saw my nanny looking as beautiful as ever and I cried hugging her and she told me these words "God has seen all your love and kindness in the world before this, therefore you have been chosen to be his angel." At first I wasn't sure what she meant and then jesus came and told me I had earned my angel wings, I have felt closer since that dream
