Kitten was positively glowing by the time Wyatt has finished grooming her. The filly's dark roan coat was striking in the winter sun, and the finely made brown leather halter really emphasized her delicate face. "You're a real beauty, did you know that?" Wyatt grinned, rubbing his fingers on the white star on Kitten's forehead.

The filly nickered happily, pleased by all the attention she was getting. She'd been showing since she was little more than a weanling, and had taken to the fuss and noise of shows like an old champion. Despite the rodeo being by far the largest event she'd ever been to, she took it all in stride. The activity, other horses, new environment... none of it bothered her!

Wyatt adjusted the lay of her forelock as a last minute detail before leading her towards the arena. Kitten walked beside him and squared up the moment the stopped. She knew how to make herself presentable to the judges. They moved through the various gaits at the behest of the judge, and Wyatt was proud of the little filly. He didn't normal handle these types of classes, but Melody was otherwise engaged and on the other side of the world in Australia for a warmblood futurity, at the moment. Thankfully, Kitten made it easy. They breezed through the class, and Wyatt felt confident about their performance.
