Super Mario Tierra 2.

Once I got on a mood of playing GameBoy stuff, and one of those games was Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, and I decided to do fanart of one of my favorite levels.
The game is mostly known for being Wario's debut (that fellow has an interesting story by the way) but everything else is usually forgoten/ignored, even by Nintendo themselves. I think is mostly because all in this and previous game is pretty weird for Mario standards, I mean the weird enemies and things like Mario owns a castle, kind of unusual. But with some context of the development of these games you can see why it doesn't has the usual Mario elements, and the creation of Wario is part of that thing. Saddly most of (for not saying all) the stuff from these two games haven't been seen again, not even as a cameo. I like the usual enemies, but it wouldn't hurt to give somewhat forgotten creatures another chance, don't you think?
Anyway, I think my favorite stuff about this zone are the references to horror stuff from Jason Voorhees to mythical yokai creatures, hanging out with Boos and Piranha Plants hehe.

Originally planned for the Halloween days, but I got busy with stuff and paused it, and retook it for these days. I don't care if it's december, spooky stuff are forever hehe
