Description
"Doing work you enjoy helps, too. I mean it helps if you can find a job that interests you enough so that each week when you're paid it seems like a minor miracle — and I've always been fortunate enough to do that..."Jeremy Brett (1933-1995) was a marvellous and versatile actor with a distinguished forty-year career in film, television, radio, and stage. He is most internationally famed for his masterful and enriching portraiture of the world's greatest consulting detective, Sherlock Holmes. He has touched the hearts of millions, including my own. Mr. Brett is the "quintessential" Holmes! He is, and shall be, always dearly missed.
This is portrait is from my "Professionally Jeremy" Series, in which I compose an artwork of Mr. Brett about every year in dedication to him. This is inspired by one of Mr. Brett's early publicity photographs when he was twenty-two years old, circa 1955. What a looker, purrrr!

Oh he's beautiful... And I do love his eye color. They were always changing, such pretty hazel eyes. Mine are just gold hazel. But still pretty.

Awwww, thank you! I'm glad you liked this. I really wanted to do a nice tribute to Jeremy with this. And, yes, his eyes does change colour depending on the light. At times, they look green, or blue, or grey, and at times hazel.

That's what I used to do. But the great thing about Painter is that I can fix the mistakes. With hands-on stratchboard, I'm kinda stuck with those mistakes.

Thank you. Jeremy's true eye-colour is a little strange because it is technically hazel, but they just kept changing colour actually. He has Elizabeth Taylor eyes! One is not sure if they are brown, or blue, or green.

lol I know how that is!
my eyes used to be blue, then they changed to green when I was 9, then they turned brown when I was around 13-14, now they're green again.... mood eyes... they should sell them like mood rings. LOL

Does mood hair count? I was born with blonde hair oddly enough, then it went charcatrstics oriental black, now it's black with natural reddish tint.
