It's a combo of "Twitter" and "furry". Someone found the guidelines to twitters logo and apparently it says not to anthropomorphize the logo. So of course the internet being the internet, everyone does exactly that. tweetfur is the name of the hashtag on twitter. I didn't name it that, I'm just joining the bandwagon.
