So this is Johann, a submission for the #PokemonLivesOn mascot contest. Johann here has an interesting back story.

So a baby Treecko, an oddly colored one at that, was found abandoned in a treehollow by a couple of Charmeleon. They debated what to do with the infant, but ended up keeping it. Johann was raised by the matriarch and patriarch of the clan that the Charmeleons belonged to.

Raised by Charizard, Johann developed an odd talent; he learned how to control fire. To a degree at least.
(hehe I see what I did there...)

Johann enjoys sneaking away from his Charizard family and frequenting what humans call a "dumpster". There he finds all sorts of cool things. His favorites are a wooden sword, some sunglasses, and old tie, and a tricycle - and not just any old trike, a Harley! Most of all, he enjoys finding what they call "comics". All these humans dressed up funny and fighting bad guys. It's absolutely thrilling.

Johann aspires to become a real life superhero, after he can get a real motorcycle that he's seen humans driving around on - one without pedals! He can use his combined Grass and Fire type powers with his mighty blade to fight off the Tyranitar that has been terrorizing his Charizard parents, and be loved by everyone.

But for now he'll just sit in the discarded piles of wonder and look at pictures of a guy dressed like Golbat beating up a creepy clown.
