So this is another Ink drawing. I found a picture on deviantart that I adored and decided to use it as a base . . . mine pales in comparison to the original but it's different too. I completed it in a record two days (it's a record for me because I usually take months to finish things) . . . . it's also a birthday present for one of my best friends. It's her 16th birthday and I wanted to draw something I've never tried before-I'm usually really bad with faces but I'm getting better.
So anyway, her dress is inkwashed and so is parts of her wings, the background is too. The background was a bit daunting because I had thought I messed up-still sorta did-but it's supposed to symbolize the darkness creeping up on them, and even though they both see it, the guy doesn't care, he wants to stay and help her fight it off together. He'll do anything for her, including carrying her wings when she needs support. . .
