Description
Inspired a lot by Jon Gray's recent drawing of Sleet and Dingo. Then by Shinbs' spriting of my redesign of Manic and Sonia, which led me to draw based on that to erase unneeded detail.

I'm not a fan of Sonic Underground, but I really like that pink hedgehogs design! Fun use of the quills and good head shape. Nice big shoes and simple details to the dress. Good stuff.
The green one is still too much like Sonic.
I do like the face and head on that thing in the top left too!

Must admit it quite amuses me to see you treat the Underground characters by "thing" :V Sonia there, I agree, is the best design of the bunch. The result of multiple passes cleaning details and focusing on the form, you can see where these started here dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/54…
The green one, Manic, does still look too much like Sonic. It's a really annoying balance question- if I change too much it stops looking like Manic, but to look like Manic it has to look like green Sonic! I'll probably try experimenting with body shape instead, go back to use the early 1990's manga as inspiration as it had a lot of variety in shapes for the characters dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/54…
As for the "things" above... they're so frankly un-Sonic-like in the show I'm not quite sure what to do with them

I like your take on Dingo. Sometimes, understatement (in this case his muscles) can be more powerful. Then his muscles can be as defined as one likes at the time of need. But am I the only person who always saw his hands as roboticized too?

eh I don't remember how old he was either. I tend to look at the crushes in sonic in a more innocent manner, it really felt to me just more like falling for a pop star
