yes they are, they may not be real ones, but they can be classified as animals

... dragons are sentinent, and sentinent creatures CAN NOT be calssified as animals they have feelinsg, they think, they plan, and so on, they are as much animals as we humans are... you rep: -999

Animals have feelings like, for example DOGS and they also plan and think like I dunno, FOXES.
And yes, I know that this conversation took place like 5 years ago.

I just made the grave error of checking the comment you were replying to and I'm now wondering what isle I should exile myself to.

Humans ARE animals though...our phylum is Chordata (vertibreas)Being sentient does not make something a higher being, and not an animal. And you are giving me...a score of some sort? based off of the fact that I called a mythological creature an animal.

You're actually very ignorant. YES humans are animals, everyone knows that. It's basic fact.Β

If I were to call this piece beautiful, I would be doing a disservice to the marvelous image hereupon beheld. I wish only that I could think of a word which would do justice to this but in the interim, know that this is one of the most fantastic pieces of dragon art I have seen.

Hi! This dragon was a mix of traditional and digital media- I drew the entire thing out as if it were a full pencil drawing, then edited and colored it on Photoshop. Hope this helps! ^_^

There's a really cool "FREE" alternative to Photoshop. The program is called 'aint.Net'. It's freeware. I use it sometimes and has most of the features of the Photoshop.

Hi! I almost always use a hand-drawn sketch (this was), and scan it into Photoshop. I tend to focus on painting rather roughly at first to get all of the colors, and slowly integrating my details. Hope this helps! (And awesome icon- I love kagrra <3)

Great artwork, well done. As to the uploading, I notice it is a 1.6 mb file, I am new here so I am not sure what limits there are, but usually on other sites there is a limit of about 600kb. For future reference, it may be worth trying to lower the file size. Great work.

This is gorgeous! The detail in the scales is so intricate, almost to the point of tedious! Lovely clouds, too.
