I have so much trouble with this man's hair. Do you have a particular method?

Hallo friend! To be completely honest, his entire head still baffles my drawing abilities at times
I don't know about everyone else, but I try to draw his hair almost like flames spurting off an orb. Because I see it as kind of a cross between a lion's mane and a sunburst. But not too smooth--gotta be jagged and unkempt.
The bangs i save till after I like the rest of the hair (and he looks so weird without his bangs). Those, for me, are the most difficult. I can get the tassel ends just fine, but I keep wanting to give him Sephiroth bangs.

Flames, huh? I should try it like that. Thus far my method has been primarily "stare at reference screenshots and cry on the inside because the bangs are doing something Weird"

I can't get the shadows on All Might's face haha. Yet. I can't get the shadows yet. I refuse to let them get the better of me lol

I've cut back on the shadows myself but i totally get it, the shadows are meant to be melodramatically goofy too ^_^

I love that both Izuku in volume 1 and Tiny Melissa in the movie prequel both react to the design with a fourth-wall break.
