Well, as promised, I couldn't help but continue playing around with this illustration. I changed the blue glow to an orange tone to reflect that of the original G1 color scheme of Cybertron.Let me know which you prefer.

did you make the brushes used on the surface and inner-works? of can they be found somewhere? This is, I plan to make my own Cybertron as a background piece for a Transformers: Animated & MLP crossover, and I want to background to like like a anime outer space background with an orbit of cybertron behind the characters, and right now I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to make a good convincing Cybertron. Any way you can help me out with this?

Sure, no problem. Β It was a mash of different mediums: brushes, textures, textured overlays, etc. Β I did use some non-Adobe brushes for the city lights in particular. Β The ones I used came from this site:Β www.obsidiandawn.com/
Once I used the tech brushes as city lights, I went in an erased a lot of it to make it look more random.

I like this one better. The background is better with fewer stars - it has more depth in this one. And the orange glow is more attractive
