I always wanted to provide a bit of the backstory that I had going on for Asuka. And since I wasn't able to fully relay that in terms of an animation, I wanted to start by writing it down for the people, who would enjoy a deeper understanding when it comes to my work. A lot of people underestimate Asuka because she lost a lot in my works. What is important to understand there, that it was always a mixture of me telling a story, but also doing the splits of being a femdom artist who's favorite character had always been Asuka. So she ended up in a lot of scenes that ultimately are not actually part of her story. Anyhow.. This is her actual backstory! One day I'll be able to share this in an animated form. But for now.. Enjoy!

Name: Asuka Kazama
Gender: Female
Age: 25 (At the time of being buff)

Nationality: Japanese (Osaka)

Personality: Asuka has a tomboyish personality and is quite brash and arrogant. She hates losing and when caught in a submission hold or pinfall, can be extremely reluctant to submit, choosing to rather get knocked out than to admit that her opponent had bested her, which ends up being one of the main challenges for her partner Tina as she would be trying to make her let go of that mentality. Asuka is the kind of fighter that will keep on getting back up from the ground, choosing to try again and again until her body won't be able to carry her anymore which is something that one of her hidden abilities greatly support her in. Ever since she had met Tina, she became even more determined to grow stronger than had previously been the case. While it is still hard for her to swallow the humiliation that comes with losing or tapping out to an opponent, she was making great gains as a fighter. In her mind, it didn't matter that Tina and her friends knew about her weaknesses and purposefully exploited them to win against her. Because deep down she knew, outside of this gym? She was one of the top dogs. And this kind of training would serve to make her even more worthy of such a position.

Strategy: Asuka is a very defensive fighter who seems to perform best in open spaces, where she can use the full length of her limbs and the available space to her advantage to keep her opponents at bay. Although usually, all of her fights end with a single kick that leads to a rather quick and unceremonious knockout. She is an expert at redirecting or even straight up countering nearly every kick or punch that is being thrown towards her which makes her an incredibly dangerous fighter. She can also be quite the brawler, seeking to use her overwhelmingly powerful kicks and punches to end her fights in no-time. Being a fighter who was trained in the Kazama Style Martial arts, she ended up with a severe weakness towards grapples, stemming from an overall lack of answers towards ground-based combat with the Traditional Kazama Style. That weakness got exposed to Asuka when she went up against King in the Iron-Fist-Tournament. She seemed to be the favorite to win, but ended up getting completely stuck in one of King's deadly holds until she eventually passed out.

Abilities: Asuka is very experienced in the traditional Kazama fighting-style as well as being a very powerful brawler and street-fighter, which overall makes her an incredibly powerful fighter who is able to end almost all of her matches within a single blow. While she struggles with ground-based combat against experienced grapplers which Tina describes as 'A turtle on it's back', she has an overwhelming durability, which keeps her going far longer than the human body should be able to go in a fight. Part of that comes with her attitude of never giving up, while being supported by one of her hidden abilities. Her hidden ability gradually restores her body's condition, which is something, that even expands to the people around her. She does not know it, but this ability would end up saving her and other around her on a several of occasions, even being useful in temporarily forcing Jin's body to return to normal, when he had transformed into his Devil-form.

Backstory: After the events of the 7th Iron fist tournament, she began having a great desire to improve upon her newly found weakness and to eventually get rid of it. But other than the muscular masked wrestler, she hardly knew anyone who could fill such a role to teach her. But that was the least of her concerns, as the war that was raging on in Japan between the G-Corp and the Mishima Zaibatsu was rapidly expanding. And soon, Asuka would find herself being dragged into it in multiple ways. The most troublesome aspect for her, was how she constantly had to watch her back for Nina and Anna Williams, trying to get her to join their respective sides as they saw something within her, which might be a potential hidden power. In Nina's case, she was more trying to kill the girl in order to keep Asuka from getting into her way in the future, as the tomboy didn't seem to want to comply with her demands. After having narrowly escaped Nina's clutches, she would visit her father one last time before finally leaving Japan. In her mind, it was a necessary step. Her attempt to escape the conflict that was raging on in Japan brought her to New York, which had her stumble into a fighting-gym that seemed like the perfect place to work on her newly discovered weakness. All while remaining as hidden as she could be, by choosing not to wear her well known outfit at all and carrying a fake-name that she would present to anyone who would talk to her. That secret however did not last long at all, as she would bump into Tina Armstrong, an immensely famous female wrestler, politician, actor and Rockstar who seemed to have some odd interest in the new girl who was without a doubt the famous female Kazama who had nearly won one of the biggest tournaments out there. She would approach Asuka without much hesitation but ultimately ended up playing along Asuka's odd game, by pretending that she had no clue who the girl was. Later that night, she would be teased into a match by the strong Texan wrestler, which Asuka was having a hard time to refuse, as her love for such fights seemed to entice her to give Tina a shot. What Asuka didn't know however, was that Tina perfectly knew who she was. And while many people didn't quite realize that Asuka's loss against Kings holds had quite the big reason behind it, Tina already had that figured out big time. Even though Asuka was one of the toughest fighters out there, she didn't even stand a chance against the texan wrestler who was pretty much the perfect counter to Asuka's style. It was a brutally one-sided matchup which had Asuka get stuck in many of Tina's moves, trying her hardest not to submit to the Texan, but ultimately being unable to delay it any longer and tapping out to the woman who also managed to get Asuka's real name out of her in the moment. While the fact that the blonde wrestler had figured out who she was seemed rather worrying for Asuka, Tina was willing to play along with her game and even offered to train the girl in the arts of wrestling if Asuka which Asuka ended up accepting. And while Tina's way to train someone was rather different , choosing to teach some harsh lessons to Asuka by repeatedly putting the 24 year old tomboy into situations that would almost be impossible for her to handle, she was convinced that her training would ultimately end up being incredibly beneficial for her new student.

It wouldn't take long for both of them to develop quite the close bond between each other, which not only got both of them to fall in love with each others habits, but it also resulted in an intense new training-routine for Asuka, which rewarded her with her new strengthened body which has greatly improved her speed and the power of her already brutally powerful blows. While sometimes it ended up being hard for Asuka to deal with those constant losses that she was taking at the hands of Tina, Lisa and a handful of other experienced grapplers, she was ultimately able to swallow her pride and look on the benefits that these one-sided matchups were giving her, which lead her to eventually best a couple of these seemingly unbeatable opponents.

Asuka would end up getting involved in some of Tina's struggles as well. Ending up being in the middle of Lisa's new attitude and goals, seeking to not only defeat her partner Tina, but to break down physically and mentally, until even someone as tough as the blonde texan wrestler would have no other choice but to crawl right in front of Lisa's feet and beg for forgiveness for stealing Lisa's spotlight away for all these years. Asuka was obviously trying to protect the reputation of her partner, leading to many situations in which she challenged Lisa, only to get absolutely dismantled in the ring. Eventually ending up in Lisa's sights, as Asuka seemed to be a perfect tool for Lisa to play with if she wanted to mess with Tina's psyche.
