Description Work in which most effort was put on credibility and readability.
The colours here are classical for sci-fi pictures. Sadly, it haven't got its fair deal of time because of two mystical loss of layers. Please be cautious about your works, fellow GIMP users.

I love all the complex shapes with the colours here, you're really very talented with sci-fi. It's genuinely a very good piece of art

Nice to see some tight details to go along with your gr8 color usage bro.

That's a nasty side effect of GIMP being free; I've had entire picture files get corrupted due to sudden overloads and shutdowns. MyPaint seems much, much more stable, but I'd still use GIMP for some specific purposes it's better suited for.

Thanks a lot for hint. I'll check out MyPaint.

And yes, higher level of detail makes any structural or palette change more difficult. I haven't delivered mind-blowing colours as I had used to do.

Don't worry you'll get there; it just requires the crafty use of more layers and brush opacities.

Seriously tho give MyPaint a go; no problems on my end, emulates traditional medium very well and light on CPU.

Has given it fifteen minutes or so, but hurriedly turned back to GIMP because there is some learning curve and keyboard binding to remember. Thank you again, the tool looks very promising.

I'll note your sentence about layers and brush opacities. Second is (I think so) used quite many times. First one requires time and work. I need to test more-layers approach.
