Generic computer resolution does no favors for this piece. Very cool. Haha. "Attack the Radical" comes to mind, for title alone, don't ask why.

ive commented on at least 7-8 of your pieces and each one is so brilliant color-wise that I can't help but mention it.. but then it's kinda the same thing over and over..

the purple in there makes the painting very cool looking. i also like the gestural freeways on the lower half. however, i would have named it something else. metropolis is a bit generic to me. nice job!

iΒ΄m glad you like it.. what would you have named it? i named it "metropolis" because of the pyramidal composition, it reminds me of a really big city. and since "minneapolis" is not such a different name.. heh
"polis" is a greek word for "city-state" isnΒ΄t it?

it's gorgeous........ I just watched Fritz Lang's Metropolis, this is so much more pretty, it sorta gives me the impression the city is bathed in either early morning or evening sun.........

Amazing, the orange toned cityscape go perfectly with the purple backdrop/sky. Nice attention to details, especially like the placements of the windows. It's like the picture was taken with a photograph set to long exposure, the lightings bring out life to this painting, literally.

the way the city is laid out makes it feel like it is framing the viewer, opening it's arms to welcome you as you fly in.

Is this of an actual city, or this the abstraction of something in your head? I've fav'd way more than normal lately, but the work I've been seeing is so damn good, and your work has been among the tops. The colors in this are STUNNING.

itΒ΄s a real city.. this painting was commissioned by my brother. he lives in the usa - in minneapolis - and wanted a painting of the downtown area because thatΒ΄s where he works, so he gave me a picture of it and i did the rest

Wow, very beautiful. The sky is indeed lovely, with all the different shades of purple. I like how it's not a smooth sky either, but a sort of feathered-texture, like clouds are everywhere.
The city is wonderfully done too, sort of glowing against the sky. I like how you added little windows on each building. I don't think I'd have the patience.
And the roads and highways look like they're paved with gold.
