I love how yellow and red this is, even the water has that sort of sun-drenched quality to it. And now I'm actually scared of the raven--sort of going 'Well, I can wait for it' you know? Scary! XD

I did the yellow wash because of how dull the colours looked otherwise (they were watered down to pretty much non existence).
I'm glad to know that it ended up looking like something constructive

And oh dear, my obsession with ears won out over actual accuracy. I DON'T CARE THAT HIS EAR SHOULD BE UNDERWATER. So there
The colours were all kind of pale and yuck before I washed over it all with the yellow. It was a bit of a lucky guess really. It was either going to help it or make it drastically worse...
And no story- just wanted to draw a guy with a pageboy haircut-

Ahh man, I love ears way too much, too! I often find myself staring at them, but I realized recently that I haven't actually changed the way I draw ears for years and years...
I've done that with yellow, too!!! It's really saved me... how cool to hear you've done the same! <3
Have you been working on (or even doodled) any more comics, lately, Miles? I've missed seeing your comics! I'd sure love to. They really inspire me to try drawing my own, too, you know!

I guess the last comic I did was in my sketchbook for the sketchbook project- I was recently invited to join in on a comic project though so I'll be working on a comic for that.

oh!! It's definitely not that any procrastination of yours slows me down - I wouldn't have you think it for a second! - but just that whenever I see your art, and comics especially, it always inspires me tenfold. Your work is really stunning. I wish I could pick up pens and use them as beautifully as you to draw comics!
