oh! well i tried the zoom -3 scaled it up then rendered it at 50000! thanks! it worked pretty well!

50,000? How long did that take? I've rendered up to 20,000 which took something like 14 hours and didn't really notice much difference from rendering at 2,000... do you feel it's worth the time? I find it better to render at a lower quality and then clean it up in Photoshop or IrfanView. Works for me anyway. Just wondering.

when you take the scale down to -3 then scale up it takes just a few minutes

it works for some of the flames but not all! and you have to hike the quality way up!
