Description
here's my entry for the 2012 edition of gallery 1988 's annual pop culture explosion, "crazy 4 cult".rather than taking place in the sunny confines of los angeles (as past installments have), this year's show opens in the meat packing district of new york city, marking gallery 1988's first east coast venture. i chose to celebrate that venue change by depicting something very near and dear to my heart: giant monsters...specifically, the ones that have frequented NYC over the years.
because it's within striking distance of where i live, i'll be in attendance for the show opening. hope to see some of you folks there.

Stunning stuff as always. Simplicity is awesome, and you also pay attention to color. Winning combo in my book!

This is a great pic. I couldn't have done anything more perfect in my life. The biggest monsters (literally) all together in the centralized area of The Big Apple really great. Love it?

It was the Cloverfield reference that clinched it for me...

New York gets it bad, not quite as bad as Tokyo but bad enough.

It's so awesome I can't even tell you how awesome it is, 'cause the Universe would collaps due to the enormous gravity pull wielded by the amount of words it would take to say "that's awesome" properly.

My friend's wife bought one of these prints when we went to the NYC show opening. One of the best pieces there. Bravo!
