What a fantastic piece! I love how you stylized the clouds - it was the first thing that caught my eye on your page (being the featured deviation and all).
The colours used are just wonderful, and the range of colours (all 4 of 'em) is perfect - so minimal.
I think the text you placed with your image is great. This would look awesome as a super-huge print on my wall...

interesting composition~
just a couple of small suggestions
i think the explosions in the background take away from your main focus, maybe making them all the same style of 'poof' (for lack of better words) could help
and also the body text you have, i would suggest not cutting off the words and wrapping them to the next line
it might work if you fit it all into a sqaure, rather than having the last line only 'ure.' makes it less legible
but overall a great piece
i really the perspective with the 'one way' text and the face-less/hand-less dude (foreground)

Well, I originally created the poofs as a method of framing the image, but as it turns out they did a better job of creating balance. The focus of this one besides the leading lines is prettu ambiguous so... I'm going to leave them as they are.
The "ure" at the bottom of the text bugged me too, and I tried a lot of ways to make it fit in with the square but they didn't work out any better. I like the words too much to cut any out. Now that you point it out though, I think I'll come back to this and give a shot at having the words not wrap around.
Lol, I'm not going to pretend I knew what gestalt means, but after looking it up I'm impressed.
