Ya.. I like to recycle.I usually shy away from painting portraits, or mostly anything where the light source is undefined. So this is kinda new to me, trying to define form with limited shadow, while keeping it from looking flat.

Very good job on the sheen of those lips and the highlights on the nose.
Try ripping up the top layer of the corrugated cardboard to bring in a nice texture, works wonders.

How do I go about that? I want to try that but I'm rather confused... Do you mean rip off the top layer and use the corrugated bit underneath?

Yeah, let the ridged, corrugated layer show through, it's a gorgeous texture.
