Taken with an Olympus OM2n, at The Torture Garden many many years ago.Lighting and background set up by Alan Sivroni, a great photographer who I stupidly keep loosing touch with!
Yes, still trawling through the archives. This is a scan from a matt handprint, so as soon as I find the negative I'll re-do it again digitally so it's sharper.
Rope work by Nawashi Murakawa, model Jude (I think).

it's not bad, i think i woulda preferred her to be all in focus as the depth of field is shallow while not aiding anything by this effect, and i think teh lighting illuminates her well but doesnt create any sort of mood
also i think a flat white back ground woulda worked best for it
however it's a nice photo and while this sort of fetish photo isnt really my thing it's still interestng to look at

I think I agree with you to a certain extent. This was a very small set up in a night club which wasn't ideal for this kind of portraiture, I didn't have any control over anything (the back ground and lighting were set up for someone else,) other than her pose and taking the photograph itself. Basically I captured a moment when I saw it! Also, I took this when I was just starting out, and feel I have come a long way since then. 
So basically, I accept your criticism, but in my defence it was an early picture taken about 9 years ago. It's here because I am fond of it, and it was part of an important learning curve for me. (Plus I fancied the pants off her at the time, but don't tell her that!)

O.K. Just cropped the bottom a bit, didn't like the proportions, seems to be a stronger image now.
