Same with Sideswipe, the factory toy sucked as far as paint goes so i fixed it. I gave it a complete movie-accurate overhaul, even went so far as adding the tiny pin stripes on his hood and through the center of the alt mode as you can see in the pic of his alt mode.Related content

Hi. Thanks for the comments. I get the smooth finishes by using high-quality automotive clears and lacquers, and then once that is dry i then "color sand" everything and basically dull the lovely shiny finish given off by the lacquers, then i get some t-cut, some special automotive wax and polish everything. Takes a lot of time and elbow grease but the finish feels like glass and reflects everything like a metal object should (unless its meant to look rusty and old

I thought it came with a detachable face plate. I think its awesome they have added the mouth though, ive wanted a prime toy with a mouth since the first movie.
