Did you buy underwater housing for your camera?

Yeah, I had to sell my Canon 5D Mark ii to get it. I'll wait for the next Mark series camera to come out next year, I like my 7D better for now.

You sold your 5DII??? What do you like better about the 7D over the 5DII?

The 7D has 19 focus points, it focuses much faster (very useful for anything that moves) and the little things like having a spring for the battery/sd card doors. The 7D was made after the 5D Mark ii so there were some improvements, it just wasn't full frame. Here's a good video I found which sealed the deal for me.... [link]
I am sure the next mark series camera will pass my 7D up, at which point... I'll buy it.

The focus points are a plus, as would be the electronic leveling and more fps. However, I would be reluctant to give up my full frame and I definitely want the better noise reduction from the 5DII.
On a side note, the "weather" test in the video was a lame addition.

lol, there was definitely some humor. I don't need full frame right now, but I do need quick focus for what I do. I'll be the first to buy the next full frame mark when it comes out, I assume it will pass up the 7D. Noise reduction can be taken care of with the software I have, so that's not an issue for me.

That's the thing with cameras....each one fits different needs. If full frame and noise aren't as big of an issue for you, then the 7D looks like the best choice!

I'd like autofocus on the next camera for the video part.

Oooh me too, hope they add that little detail - it's kind of annoying the way it is now.
