Description A man like a coin minted with hate and love on its sides.
Very rarely does it land there, that side that rides between them.
The hands that tend to both sides just the same as the other.

The same hand that cuts is the same hand that brushes her cheek.
The hands that ball into fists, the same that slip through her hair.
The hand that severs is the hand that runs along her back.
The hand that crushes is the hand that caresses her.
The hand that destroys is the same that guides lips to meet.
The hand that fires the gun is the hand curls hair about its fingers.
The hand that breaks bones is the same that holds her own.
The hand that bends steel is the same that traces her jaw.
The hand that tears is the hand that rests on her hip.
The hand that kills is the very same same hand that loves.
The hand covered in blood is the hand that plays across her skin.

Two sides and the thin line between them.
Only one woman sees the side of love, alone.
All hate and violence is projected out.
A wall of hate created by a unbroken love.
His hate radiates and keeps his love safe.
And all she is subject to only one side of that coin.
The side where there is no armor to protect him,
Where there is trust in her that undead hearts might beat again.
Where wounds are still trying to heal.
That side is love and that wall is to protect her.
To protect no matter what it takes.
