It's small I know but it was just a rough sketch. This is what Syrant carried circa DBA ( [link] ) the primary shape is obviously a cross and the Crystal Rose was a religious thing, hence we have Paladins and Blackguards and other titles within it but from this cross we have an easy way to fit a weapon around it. It's not so evident but the bottom of the weapon has a long blade mounted under it to make it some sort of shy bayonet or, more correct, a weapon capable of being used in close-quarters should the distance be closed.

The top left of the weapon is the slide and works just like it should, it is blown back, ejects the shell, cocks the hammer, and slides the next round into the chamber. The barrel is on the otherside of the slide and as one might see it doesn't look like it moves or gives a lot of room for excessive fire. My excuse for this is two-fold A) It's possibly in-universe and B) It's not real, so get off my back.

The grip is a little small, for my taste and it would be miuch more appropriate if they featured extended magazines or dum-mags but those an make close quaters a problem-- suppose they could be ejected, though. He (in his current incarnation) still wields two similar weapons although the cross is gone and the weapon uses no slide, just internal mechanics. I'll work on drawing or sketching one out, soon.
