I used Prismacolor premier softcore pencils and cretacolor watercolor pencils on cold pressed canson XL watercolor paper. Also used is a little rubbing alcohol to blend certain areas and gesso for highlights.
This was defiantly a challenge to create all the textures but it was very fun.🙌
I was defiantly working last minute to complete this but I think it came out okay I really enjoyed the process it was my first time doing anything like this.Related content

The level of detail in this is outstanding. You have paid attention to every jagged edge, every vein and hole in every leaf, and the effort has clearly paid off. The overlapping leaves' colours really help to draw your eye to the ladybug, while also creating a little more contrast with the green background and vibrant red of the bug. While there are so many amazing things about this work, the one thing I feel that could be improved is adding a bit deeper values to the middle of the work. The overlapped leaves in the center section of the drawing each seem a bit washed out compared to the ones on the side. Going off of the realism in your other works, I assume you chose to do this because that's how it was in nature? In spite of this minor critique, I think you have done a phenomenal job of making an ordinary still life inspired. Well done!
