In fact the more I think on it is there are more "gay" parings in this anime than there are straight ones. You have these two, Shiro/Kuro and The (now deceased) Red King and the Blue King. The only straight paring I can think of are the Red and Blue lieutenants/second in commands who seem to have a thing for each other.

Question: why are these two characters in particular always shown together like this, I've only seen the first episode of k, but that was only so long ago and I plan on getting into the series when I have the time but for now I would like to know what is it about these two that the fans are coming up with yaoi fan art and all this other stuff because I would really like to know so I could have something to look forward to in the series when I get into it later....
