Howdy guys!! It's been such a long time since I made an adoptable,,, It's something I really want to get into after I finish my owed work!
I missed mermay bc of arm injuries and I can't resist halloween adopts so... why not both... inspired by some of my favorite tropes kasjd

This design was privately AB'd! But I wanted to upload it here for recording purposes anyway asdf I have another design planned! I hope I can finish it in time >:0

Flavor Text (optional ofc!):

A rather eerie merfolk who resides in the deepest waters. Living so deep, not much life can be found in such high pressure areas...
as such, they do not have any friends.
Their one desire is to at least make one single friend... but their unnerving appearance usually scares people off, even if they are kind.
They've been observing humans, trying to learn their ways, and adopt their habits so that perhaps their encounters will be less awkward (they're not).

Tidbits:

- Collects clips and other accessories washed up on the shore or sunk in the water to dress with and look more "cute".
They've also tried painting themselves more pastel colors.
- Has a big scary monster form... but for obvious reasons, they never use it. Saved exclusively for the one person they want to protect!!
- Glow in the dark! Their bones and markings are bioluminescent
- They do their best to look friendly and surround themselves with cute animals like frogs... Hey at least the frogs like them
- They've been chained up and caught before, so they have trust issues.
- The orb above their head acts like an anglerfish light to catch prey. They can also open their mouth and unhinge it like a snake to eat meat.
