Description
An architectural project for a studio end of my freshman year. We were told that we had a lot to those dimensions with walls that high and we could not exceed 1 story. So pretty much we could do whatever we wanted... inside a box. haha. Also the prof made it tricky with all these things like it is in Palm Springs ( basically a desert) and we have to design it to be comfortable without air conditioning. Of course it has to be up to ADA standards.Related content

Looks so professional and realistic. Great idea in making seats and a tree to give the model a sense of scale. makes me want to do architecture XD

damn, i really really really hate the heat, and anything to do with the heat, but if this house was in a desert, i would definitely live in it without hesitation. This is almost close to what i pictured my dream house to look like. i love it!

It's pretty, but does it work? I noticed you said "I only wish my studio professor was as impressed as you are." Your professor probably wanted to know how it fits to the assignment of the "client". Also the craftsmanship may have been a problem, things are lopsided with glue peeking out. The professors I know of would take an entire letter grade off for bad craftsmanship...
Other than that though, the design itself is fairly simplistic, it is "pretty". Manufacturing costs would probably be expensive because of curves though XD
If this is kinda harsh, sorry, but I do like the design. I hope one day you'll get your professor's recognition, just keep working harder!!

lol. I am more of a mountain person myself. The assignment was to design for someone opposite of yourself, so I designed it for a beachy-barbie girl.
