You don't need makeup to be beautiful
Note: Everyone has different opinions about makeup on girls. I'd love to hear everyone's opinions and thoughts but please don't comment anything offensive or inappropriate. All I'm doing is expressing my opinion in art. Also, I'm not disagreeing that NO make up is good, sometimes small amounts of makeup is fine.

This is totally true! Girls don't need makeup to look pretty... It's what's on the inside that counts. A lot of them think appearance is the only thing that matters. They're wrong! My looks have gotten my nowhere in life. My personality is the reason I have friends. Not cover-ups. This piece has vision, and I hope it really speaks to others. I'm glad there are others out there who agree. This is why I hate beauty pageants. Who cares what you look like? It's what you talk like, and what you think like. The only makeup you'd ever catch me in is Halloween makeup. Thank you.

I could say that I agree at the message of your artwork. It is very inspiring to other people, especially women who are very vain.
Also the way you time and took the picture is very stunning. The different marks made from the materials for applying make up looks very good. The shade created from the powder gives it more volume and livelier feeling. And the heart really caught my attention because of it's cuteness.
Vision is very nice. Originality... I could say that the idea is okay. The Technic of how you took the picture is very beautiful and the impact on me is very astonishing.
All in all, nice and very attractive. I'll give it 9.5 over 10!

It's very, very true ^^ all the girls are actually doing makeup because they are not supported as this photo shows that you have no makeup to be beautiful just have to be yourself.
This picture represents perfectly what girls should do is accept themselves without makeup.
Is a very good picture, the composition, the feeling ...
I think all the girls and women should be taken at face value what the picture expresses.

i think you that your point it actually true, i never wear make-up outdoors!
I love doing make-up on myself for fun, and feel pretty for a sec, but after a while i don't feel like myself.. and feel fake!
I tried alot of times wearing make-up outside, but every time i've put it on and ready to go out of the door i quickly go back to the bathroom and wash my face!
Make-up can make you pretty, but in the end it's not the real you!
I stick to whom i am and that's without make-up!

True true.
Most girls put on a whole lot of makeup to think they're pretty. Well, to feel it atleast. Theres kinda no point it slabbering your face with this kinda of stuff when at the end of the day, makeup doesnt really do anything. It just gets put onto your face, then taken off in the night. The girls who wear no makeup, or only wear a bit (including me) get a hard time for not wearing it.
You have really captured your own opinion, and this is truely a great way of showing it.
Everything abou it is great, and I enjoy hearing you speak out being a guy and all.

I am 13 and though I dont think I look great, i still hate the stuff. I just dont like the idea of it, even if the amount is tiny, i feel like im putting a mask on whenever I have to put it on for when im in a play or gangshow.

Definitely true! Beauty is the real you without makeup on the inside, although makeup can enhance your natural features! That should only be the reason you wear it, to enhance yourself rather than create a new you. Coming from a girl who wears makeup occasionally and not all the time!

I agree with the fact that makeup does not make a person better, because surely, beauty radiates from within. However, as a makeup enthusiast I feel that makeup is another art form, rather than the way stuck up girls in high school might use it, because frankly, those girls are giving make up lovers a bad rep.

I agree, makeup can be art. I've seen it plenty of times on the front page of dA, and kudos to those artists because what they make is truly astounding. However, when you wear it to make yourself beautiful, then you might as well put on a mask. It's the same thing. You're hiding what's real, what you were born with.
Look at Geishas; their makeup is tradition and the goal is to look like something they are not. They're meant to look mysterious, meant to make it seem like they are wearing a mask. A clown wears make up to look silly and entertaining. Performers wear it to look exotic, mysterious, and wild. All in which are forms of art.
What matters is on the inside; remember that and that's all you need.

I don't think there is anything wrong with makeup. If you enjoy wearing makeup because it's fun to use then do it. However if you are trying to hide things well...it's your choice but you need to be comfortable to be yourself. When you get a boyfriend/girlfriend they will at some point see how you really look unless you actually wear makeup when you sleep... DON'T DO THAT by the way that will ruin your skin! The people that care about you will never judge you because you have some or a lot of imperfections. If they do they are not worth your care and effort. Natural beauty is better and faster. All you need is sunblock, moisturizer and lip balm!
