this is a fanart of the main character of a comic book called the sandman by neil gaiman. u can find more about it wikipedia or even better - read the book. i highly recommend it

he lost it in the war. he replaced it with a wooden leg with a little wheel on the end. like the ones on wheeled suitcases.

this is Dream from Gaiman's comics the sandman. guess it wasnt very smart to do a fanart for a comic i read over 2 years ago without looking up some references to refresh my memory.....

i've read all the sandman extra stories and i've started to read neverwhere (comic version) but i havent encountered a book of his except for maybe something he did with terry pratchet. guess he's not too popular in israel...

It was a fantastic book. Kind of slow at the beginning, but it picks up speed later on.
