DescriptionWell I'm on a roll with these head shot things, and I've been enjoying it a bit. This is a gift for Lyswen of her character by the same name. A while back, she informed me that she never got art from the ShinXChange about 5 years ago, so I decided to adopt her, sort of <3 Also, she seems to have not been feeling quite so well lately, so I hope this cheers her up a little bit.I am pretty satisfied with this one, even though there are glaring mistakes. I think I got the image across that I wanted to and I learned a lot of things about my process while I was doing it. I hope you like it, Lyswen.

I really love when you draw these sorts of things, Shin β instead of drawing the big, bad dragon, you create something like this that installs a calming and tranquil mood in the eyes of your viewers. These soft colors all work wonderfully together in your style, and the way you paint the hair makes it looks so soft and silky, like I could reach through the screen and stroke the dragon itself! Not to mention how amazing those feathers look β honestly, they look like real feathers, the exact texture a feather would have. The character pictured also has such a thoughtful and mysterious sort of expression which further expands the calming feeling you get from this. Overall just amazing, honestly.
