Description Lady's Morning Dress circa 1805 - now in colour!

For a morning spent overseeing her household staff and accounts, this lady has donned a simple gown of mull muslin with a chemisette style top and a modest amount of classical decoration. The sleeves are long with two puffs on the upper arms overlaid with a small ruffle. Her cap is a simple design, made up in nainsook.

Pencil drawing/painted in Photoshop. Texture from cgtextures.
