It's the color....it just captivates my eyes... That is what makes this photo so stunning! Now there is a wee bit of noise in the background and I wish the flowers were a bit more sharp but I understand that you probably used a shallow depth and field. Either way, it's the colors that make it pop.

heavy experimentation. it's not just a simple click of an action, because the technicolor actions that exist may work but they acheive no semblance of the darkening, lens distortion, or noise work, and the colors are often too much. it's not calculated. in fact i'm not sure its possible to execute exactly like this even for me.
