Description
Scud is a Spewcumber, something like a cross between a sea cucumber and a nudibranch. Spewcumbers are historically reclusive and ancient species, and some of their members can be thousands of year old. They grow up to a foot long but no larger (although there have been rumours of monstrously sized Spewcumbers living deep in the ocean trenches). They have a colourful stomach that they can whip out of their mouths to grab prey to eat or use as grappling hook when they need to escape.

Other species find Spewcumbers to be very cute and will sometimes keep them as pets. The Spewcumbers don't mind too much since this means they get pampered. Spewcumbers can also spit out jets of water in defence. They are amphibious.
