Vladania is just my name for him. Calling him "Dan" or "Phantom" trivializes the fact that he's part Vlad as well as part Danny, at least for me it does. So I decided to call him a mix of the two names as a constant reminder to myself of his origins. As for why 'Vladania' vs. some other name like 'Phanmius' or 'Danimir' or something... well, 'Vladania' sounds like 'dasvidaniya', which I can't help but imagine being said in the same furious, determined tone Anastasia said it when she stomped on Rasputen's doodad and sent him to hell. And because of that, I can't help but imagine Danny shouting, "Das Vladania!" in that same tone when dealing the final blow in some epic battle between himself and Vladania. Always with the puns, even in the most serious of fights! Anyways, that's where that comes from, in the strangeness that passes for my brain.... [xx

Yeah... I just noticed that other authors sometimes forget that "Dan Phantom" has quite a bit of Vlad in him... and sometimes, I noticed myself forgetting this; so calling him "Vladania" serves mainly as a preventative measure. It's always really interesting to see when the author keeps Vladania's nature and origins in mind, but the characters they write don't.

actually recently i was thinking that since dan could transform back into his younger ghost self and also danny, wouldnt it make sense that he can transform into vlad/plasmius too ?? :3c

WOW that so Awesome I suggest that l you can start from your Fanfiction story call A Phantom's Choice I think is great story.
