Description
This is the second model I did for the Theatricus guys, to go with the spacestation. It is a space and atmosphere capable single seat fighter. I let the atmosphere capability be a guide for the design, as it let me streamline it to my hearts content, while knowing f##k all about aerodynamics...Related content

Yup, it does bear a resemblance. It's even got the same colors.
Wasn't intentional though, I try to create my own stuff.
Maybe the StarWars connection is why people seem so drawn to it.
I don't even like it anymore, and it's my most viewed model by a mile..

I'm from Norway, but I spent a year in college in Scotland and they use "mate" as well. It kind of stuck.

he he, thanks for checking out my designs. Yes I agree, It looks sort of like a bomber. It was my first fighter design, so it came out a little weird. It was actually a comission for an orbit to surface single seat police interceptor... That ended up looking like a bomber ha ha ha!

So it does start from an orbital position, a carrier or space station, to the surface of a planet? Kind of an odd direction to go. Would suggest it only has limited abilities outside of orbit.
Still a great design.

Thanks, mate. It's intended as an orbit to surface craft, and I made it based on a brief I was given by the customer. The idea was that the planet had a world police force/jedi type organisation that monitored the planet from above and sent down interceptors when needed. It kind of makes sense from a logistical point of view, hehehe. Anyway thanks for liking the design. I made it a few yrs back and would have done it very different now.
