Mother nature reached out her hand. Slowly the many hues of sand appeared at her fingertips before overtaking the entire hand. Grainy and dry, the sand called out to the sparkling waters of the sea and they appeared. Shyly showing the faintest traces of saphire before receding and stepping out once more, bolder than before to intake the extended fingers until the first knuckle. After getting used to the sensation, mother nature bent her fingers slightly as sea foam lapped at her knuckles while the sea breathed on her fingers, inhaling and exhaling, billowing out and receding. That was the first ocean, the first beach, and it all started at mother nature's fingertips.
