Fukuro is Japanese for bag/sack of meat. This is fanart of the Fukuro video, which was created by members of the team who made Silent Hill, which I believe was available on the Lost Memories DVD.

Thanks man! I was tempted to do the piece full reddish color, but in hte end felt the desaturated gradient towards the bottom made the red stand out more by contrast. Glad you like it

SH1 will always be my favorite. I'll never forget going up to the blockbuster when I was 15 (seem like ages ago now) while I was suspended from school, and saw the stragety guide there. I thought to myself, "that looks like a really atmosphereic RE2 w/o prerendered backgrounds"... And it didn't take long for me to be obsessed. Now, having purchased each subsequent game on it's release date, and a SH tattoo since then, it's still my favorite because of how different and new it was.
In terms of story, characters and monsters, nothing will EVER beat Silent Hill two though. I've never experienced such emotions while playing a game before. I will they wrote it in book form so I could sit here and read it! SH2 is truly a work of art imho. Yours?

ohoh well im going to agree w/ you on being the first one i played was sh1, i did love it, but i got lost alot XD cause the school sewers pissed me off, but the second. oh, now that was a beautiful game haha, just the monsters the atmosphere like you said, the feel of the game i just love, i downloaded alot of music from the fist and second game and just listend to only that when i went to the bus stop at 6am in the dark and i just imagind the game (dorky?) haha, i loved how the colors were and just EVERYTHING. i aslo loved how the monsters(especially the manequins) had a shine to them.
i just thought it was a masterpeice and i play it over and over.
to me i still love the riddles and puzzle solving more than the action/fighting. i usually run like hell from everything haha but when pyramid head first made his apearence, i about jumped out of my skin XD i was soo scared but moved.

I love the riddles, but the violence is so satisfactory... Especially in the first game with the hammer/axe thing you find in the hospital. Heh... my stats at the end of the game were like 5 creatures killed with guns, 100 with melee weapons because of that axe! Awsome! I wish they would have put it in suqsequent games.
Not dorky at all (well maybe but then so am I) Whenever I'm feeling overwhelmed in life I picture myself in a certain room in SH2 that the monsters are never in, the bedroom in one of the apartments in particular. I picture myself crawling through a window into that room, lying down on the broken glass on the matress, and I feel peaceful. I also have walked through the foggy streets (there's not a lot of fog in Wisconsin so I can't do this too often... I should move to Washington state lol) with my ipod and the SH cds I got off ebay, and just pretend I'm there. So, don't feel too dorky
