Ah - memories of the plentiful berries and tea in Scotland earlier this summer. Raspberries are particularly delicious as jam - I'd never been a fan of jam since all I've ever tasted was the commercial kind. Home-made raspberry and mint jam though is absolutely wonderful.

The heart is real and captured in-camera. I attempted a technique described in a tutorial written by dinabelenko which I believe can be found on 500px - so plenty credit to her for being so kind to share how she achieves some of the most unique still life shots out there. Of course was missing a ton of useful equipment like a tripod and craft blade - but I'm always up for a challenge when a picture comes to mind.

Oh, and I'm back to medical school now for what will hopefully be the last ever year of my life as a student! 9 months to go
