Description
Sly, Carmelita, Bentley and Murray headed to hospital to look Rex. A cording what Sly heard Rex got injured badly on his side and by his right leg. So far he had to stay there because he lots too much blood too and he needed to rest to recover his strength. Once they arrived there they meet Doc. Thomas Wolf friend of Sly and Carmelita. Funny thing was he also was doctor of Bentley when he lost his legs after Clock-la case. Bentley apologized that he left like that back then, but Dr. Wolf understood situation and just hope that won’t become habit.

“I guess that depends on if someone is after us.” chuckled Sly.

“Of course. You came to see Rex, right.”

“Yes…”

“Follow me then. I was going to check on him anyway.” All four followed him to one room where German Sheppard laid in bed looking way bored throwing ball at the roof.

“You do know that one day it will fall one you, Ravenhorst.” said Dr.

“But there nothing else to do here there's no cable in this room…” whined Rex.

“You have guests.” said Dor. The Bentley, Murray and Carmelita just show up.

“Hi guys…” said Rex. Then Sly came behind them, in which Rex jaw drop. “How did you… when…”

“Last night.” He just said.

“What took you so long?! You think I could sleep because you’re out there.”

“Sorry... how's it going?”

“How do I look? I got one leg packed up.”

“Well, with luck you might get out soon.” said Dr.

“Oh goodie...” said Rex. “I have been out who knows how long. There's probably cases that needs to be solved.”

“We're not that desperate.” said Carmelita. Right then Enric comes with newspaper.

“Rex. You better get up! We have trouble!”

“you were saying?” said Rex.

“Enric, you can't make him go. I have rights to say so.”

“Well, something must to be done with this” said Enric showing newspaper.

“Please don't be “Le Figaro” news.... ” said Rex.

“No, this is other. But it might be matter of time before every news paper goes after this scoop.”

“What scoop?!” asked Rex and took newspaper to read.

“It's on page 10 you can't miss it.” said Enric.

Rex started to read in low voice. After reading few lines he got worried every second before he said “Oh ham rolls...”

“Ham rolls?” asked Bentley.

“You don't want to know...” said Sly and Carmelita at the same time.

“When this was made?” asked Rex.

“It was delivered this morning.” said Enric. “The entire Paris might already know...”

“Double ham rolls.”

“Can I have some?” asked Murray. Others looked at him.

“Could heal me any faster, Doc?” asked Rex.

“I did kind kinda came to tell that if your leg is any better, you might sooner.” said Dr.

“Thank you!!”

“what it is about?” asked Sly. Rex gives him the newspaper. Everyone look over his shoulders what it is about.

“Wow...” said Bentely.

“That's not good...” said Murray.

Carmelita didn't say anything and either didn't Sly.
