Hey guys, it has been quite a while since my last upload and I apologize. I wanted to do something quite different to what I usually do, so I thought I'd tackle a battle scene from the warcraft universe. With Warcraft Reforged just over the horizon I remember the hopelessness and horror of the scourge in the original WC3 and wanted to attempt to capture even a glimpse of that and challenge myself. This will be the last picture I do for 2019 and a happy new years to everyone!Related content

Hey Reinhold-Hoffmann! I liked the idea of having a battle with footmen etc as I am a huge fan of Warcraft 3. I was imagining different locations reacting to the scourge and tried to give the feeling of overwhelming odds but still showing the Alliance giving the best they can before the inevitable.

And the result is excellent, the piece at least, the Alliance soldiers are not so happy about it I guess

They have definitely seen better days, I'm hoping to do some more battle type illustrations in the Warcraft universe so will have to give them the upper hand in some instance

I like the old Warcraft feeling this picture is radiating, not that i don't like the newer style, there's just something charming to the old RTS games, great work!

Thanks Heziod! I definitely know what you mean, I have always been a big fan of WC3 but I unfortunately never got to play WC1 and WC2 when they were first released which is a shame
